As you answer these self-assessment questions, please be as candid as you can.

I accept who I am. I never try to present myself as someone I am not, even in front of people I want to impress or appear credible.

I sometimes say things, which I would not otherwise say, just to gain the approval of people whom I want to please.

I do not feel comfortable expressing an opinion that is contrary to people senior to me

I like the challenge of tackling complex tasks and projects.

I like to learn new and complex concepts and topics, even if I feel uncomfortable at first.

I sometimes feel inferior in the presence of more knowledgeable, successful, and powerful people.

I know how to set boundaries of what I am prepared to accept and what I am not, even with people senior to me, or people close to me.

I am not afraid of a conflict, if I believe in the cause I am supporting.

I like tackling new initiatives that present an opportunity to conquer a new challenge.

I shy away from learning new complex topics and technologies.

I feel uncomfortable saying “I do not know” in front of senior people (e.g. an Executive Committee or Steering Committee).

I often refuse invitations to business meetings, when I have higher priority things to do, even if people expect me to be there.

I always correct people (even senior people) who state incorrect information, if I believe their statement may have negative consequences.

I tend to procrastinate when I face tasks or projects that seem complex.

I never procrastinate on learning new topics, systems, and processes that I need in order to do my job.

I know my worth and value and I never feel as an impostor.

17. 

I always “speak my truth” even if my superior communicate a message that is inconsistent with my ethical standards and values.

18. 

I often avoid conflicts because I am afraid that I will not be able to handle them in a “cool and controlled Manner”.

I feel uncomfortable when I have to perform tasks or projects that I have never done before.

20. 

I am confident in my ability to learn concepts and topics I have never studied before.
